The Second Day of Framing

There isn't a whole lot to see today. Essentially more of the same -- reinforcing the current structure to make up for the rafters that have been removed, and to bear some of the load of the dormers.

More new rafters cut and installed. These boards are nailed together to form a stiffer beam.

A floor board was removed to expose the structure by the exterior wall, for the new rafters to be nailed to.

Some height has been added to the ridge board here for the rafters to join to.
